Press play to hear Ted Wing talk about the inspirations for his painting.
Ted Wing was born in Philadelphia and started drawing characters from Marvel comics as far back as he can remember. First, he ventured to Fairfield University and later to Howard University, graduating with a Bachelor in Fine Arts. He then continued at Howard University and received his Masters of Fine Arts.
At 30 years old, he admits he still has much to learn and develop within himself, and wishes to be in the right environment to cultivate and create effectively. "My objective is to redefine the "comedic" or "child-like" notions of sequenced art and present it in a way that produces good stories. I also want to express new ways of using the computer as an art tool and give a new spark to traditional and digital painting."
